Building a team and vision for a unique proposition

In our role as contracting to Lightful, we put together a design team, and facilitated a vision for a hybrid social media management, fundraising and marketing platform. Lightful is a tech-for-good company, aimed at providing impactful marketing tools.

We worked with user researchers and product owners to plan a research programme to discover the key needs of our users. We developed multiple personas, which highlighted the key needs of users: saving time in creating social media, building confidence in social media strategies, and working on multiple on multiple channels with multiple team members.

In order to rapidly deploy these ideas and retain consistency, our team a built out a design system. We ensured that the design system was highly reusable and robust through detailing key states, screen sizes and component nesting structures. The design system was expandable and also was designed to be modified as their brand changed and grew.
